I have broken down the costs per service you request. The more items you add to the site, the more expensive it will be. It is completely up to you. You can choose whatever items you want to include and either work on the other items yourself, or I can work on them for you at a later date.
I am one of the quicker website designers out there. Having said that, keep in mind the greatest delay is usually the content. If your content is ready to go, you could have a site up and running in less than two weeks. It will take longer for more complicated websites, so keep that in mind as well.
Very little of what I do is dependent on the theme. I use a child version of Kava, but most themes will work just fine. What I do is take a basic them and then build your site, and templates on top of that using Elementor. So what you end up with is WordPress with Kava and your own custom templates that make up your website.
Great question. I keep my plugins at a minimum due to conflicts in code and speed requirements. What I do use allows me to create custom post types for you, which adds a ton of versatility to your site. Custom post types allow you to add information to your posts that are not allowed in your basic WordPress installation. For example, imagine you are building a recipe site–custom post types allow you to add details to the recipe like calorie count, time to cook, ingredients, and more. You could then in turn sell those recipes on your site, or have people log in with their own account and sell their own recipes. I am sure you can imagine a ton of other possibilities.
Want to connect your site to Hubspot or something similar, okay.
Would you like to highlight your work? No problem.
The possibilities are nearly endless. I will tell you this though if you have a project that is over my head–one that I think I may not be able to do, I will let you know right away. I am not going to waste your time.
One. Keep your hosting and your domain separate. This will prevent your website from being held hostage by either your host provider or your domain registrar.
Two. Godaddy is not the best option. My suggestion is to go with the local company, Digitimber. I have been with them for several years. They treat everyone very well.
Three. I can help you with your domain name and your hosting if you wish. If you set it up yourself you will need to provide me with login details to build your site.
Four. If you want emails added from time to time and your site integrity monitored I can do that as well for a small fee. This can be very helpful when it comes to your SEO as well.
SEO, or search engine optimization is important. There are two main areas of SEO to keep in mind–on-page SEO and site maintenance.
Your website will come with on-page SEO right out of the box. However, after monitoring your site for awhile, you will probably want to make some adjustments to your on-page SEO. This is very normal. Just don’t change your site too much, that will hurt your SEO.
In addition to on-page SEO there is your content strategies. Sometimes this is considered marketing. It is really both. Your content and how it is provided is key to your site’s overall SEO health. I can explain that in more detail, if you ask.
